To conserve water, Oliver's has proudly installed waterless urinal troughs in our men's bathrooms, released in Australia by Watersave Australia. They don't need flushing. Every water-free urinal saves approximately 65,000 litres of water and several hundred kilowatt hours of energy every year.

At Oliver's, we also recycle our juicing waste as organic matter that naturally replenishes soil nutrition to support the ongoing organic cultivation of fresh and healthy foods.

How does it work?

Brown Earth Pty Ltd blends Oliver’s juicing residues with manure and uses this to feed 10 beds of composting worms. The worms excrete vermicast, that contain millions of good bacteria and plant growth stimulants. These become a liquid soil conditioner called Wormtastic™ that is used as a soil stabiliser to result in healthier and more nutritionally rich soil.
